New Extreme Performance Bearing Coating (HM14): ...more >>

We have recently designed and tested our new Extreme Performance Bearing Coating. We created this formulation for engines where the bearings undergo High Temperature and High Load. We have tested this new coating extensively on the NHRA drag racing circuit in Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock engines.

We have been able to see very favorable results for wear and the bearings hold up better under higher temperatures. The coating thickness is the same as our HM30 bearing coating (0.0003"), but we can also add an additional coating layer to take up clearance when needed. Below I have some examples that show the durability of this coating when compared to uncoated bearings for the same type of engine:

Our new Piston Skirt coating JB-1 was designed to be more durable but also offer flexibility to the Engine builder. Now available, JB-1 Skirt coating offers a more Abrasion Resistant dry film lubricant on skirts. It can be applied in layers (up to 0.0015" Thick), which offers the engine builder more flexibility with Piston to wall clearance. At the time of order the customer just needs to specify the desired coating thickness and JB-1 should be able to compensate.
